John Angus (Jimmy Page and Robert Plant)
Learned his trade playing as a teenager with Flyte, an original rock band that supported top seventies bands including, Showaddywaddy and Jack the Ladd.
Many bands and years later, john fronted a top Led Zep tribute, Led Zebbedee which sadly split in 2003.
Immediately after this John formed a cracking blues rock band, Preacher, who played across the North West with the highlight gig being The Great Britsih Blues Festival in Colne and supports slots with Budgie who toured Sweden.
Its been a long time, been a long time... as they say!
since John played with such talented musicians and today, Lets Zeppelin are certainly that.
He is a top guitarist and has the gift of being able to sing just like Robert Plant...but dont take our word for it...have a listen on the sounds page. |
JIMMY PAGE VACANCY
As you can see we are a three piece
band that rocks..we also know that with
a quality Jimmy Page playing we would
be contenders for the UK's number one tribute alongside the likes of Letz Zepp..cracking trib!
John is happy to concentrate on vocals
for the right Jimmy so....
If you've got what it takes,

Kev Moloney (John Paul Jones)
Born (1958) and bred in Crewe, Cheshire.
Late developer, first gig at local church hall in 1978, hooked ever since. Played in original local outfit, 'Vermillion' achieving a radio ONE broadcast on the Peter Powell Show.
(remember him?.)
Heavily influenced by the early Level 42 albums, and later by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Steely Dan.
Toured the clubs in the early 80s with several club bands, then hung up the axe to raise a family. (3 kids).
Returned to college to study music in 2001 after an industrial injury forced him to finish work.
After a two year course he went on to study musical composition at Manchester Metropolitan
University.
Formed Lets Zeppelin in 2007 from the ashes of a top blues rock band Preacher with John.
His equipment consists of a Roland DB 500 bass combo with digital electronics, and built-in compression. He DI's this into the desk which gives a great all round sound.
His main guitar is a hand built Fender Jazz, built to kev's own specification, including a solid ash barewood body, ebony fingerboard, and goldplate ironwork.
A Baddass bridge finishes off the guitar nicely. Daddario
strings (95 on the E) with stepped windings, give a great edgey sound to his play.
Kev also has a hand built Gibson EB3 which is a dream to play and unique as left hooker!
